There's playing bad, and then there's playing REALLY bad. I'm talking about the latter. It's gonna happen, usually at the least opportune time. How you deal with it will define the speed that you game can recover. I've seen some very talented and skilled players melt down. Hell, I've been known to do it. The game within the game is to keep telling yourself you're due for a streak of solid golf. To stay focused on forgetting the bad shots, clearing you mind, and putting everything into your next throw.
Failing that playing bad can point out the things you need to work on.If we could play at our best all the time, what would be the point. Golf is not a game of perfection anymore than life is.
So what you gonna do the next time you're playing like a knucklehead? Give up, or play the game within the ame?
