The Course

Anson B Nixon Town Park Disc Golf Course ("Kennett") has been around for over 10 years, but in the last 3 the Kennett Square Discs Club has but a lot of effort into improving the course. We hold lots of "Course Appreciation" days, so keep an eye on our calendar, sign up for the newsletter and come on out to show your love for the course that gives so much. All paths and roads are OB, except for when the basket is across a path, then only the path itself is out of bounds. Over the fence near route one is out of bounds. Pedestrians always have right of way, please be patient and polite. Please do not litter. The Squares work hard to keep the course clean for your enjoyment.

It's been a 2 year process but we've finally got the plan and proposal together for the new tee pad placements. Keep an eye out for tee pad work days as we're going to need all hands to make the is happen.

This Sunday prior to Tags/doubles and Following tags/ doubles we squares will be walking the course discussing long tee options.
We just want to get some ideas flowing about the location of these tees.  This is the start of many meetings to come on the topic.  Please join us @ 8 AM!! and after tags/doubles(whatever time that may be).  You'll see us around, that is for sure!

New Stairs on Hole #8

SHOW YOUR LOVE

Josiah, DRay, and Randy got an early start on our big 2010 course development plans. Check it out! Sweet stairs for hole #8! Next time you see them be sure to say thanks.

In 2010, we've planned monthly Course Appreciation Days. Each month a different Square will take on another project. Check in on our forum for your chance to show the love. The first one is coming up on January 2nd, for a quick round and then thorn clearing on holes 3-6. The more folks that show up, the more we can get done.
